Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of LaunchFar (launchfar.com), operated by Jam with AI, Ulmenallee, 14050 Berlin, Germany. By joining the waitlist or using the beta, you agree to them.
What LaunchFar is right now
LaunchFar is an experimental, unfinished project we are testing in public with a small number of invited people. It is not a commercial product and we are not offering it for sale. Treat everything you see as a work in progress: features appear, change, and disappear, content is incomplete, and things break.
Nothing in the beta, on any page of this site, or in any message we send you is an offer to conclude a paid contract. If we ever introduce paid plans, that will be a separate offer with its own terms, prices, and pre-contract information, and it will require your explicit agreement at that time.
Access is by invitation, and taking part is your choice
Beta access is granted individually to a very small number of invited members of our community. Creating an account or joining the waitlist does not entitle you to access. We may decline, pause, or withdraw access at any time and without giving reasons, and we may close the beta entirely. You have no claim to continued access, to a particular feature, or to any level of availability.
Participation is voluntary. By accepting your invitation, signing in, and using the beta you agree to take part in testing an experimental, unfinished product under these Terms — knowing that it can be wrong, break, or lose data. You can withdraw from the beta at any time by stopping use and deleting your account, without giving reasons and without any consequence beyond losing access.
No charges
The beta is free. We do not take payments, we do not collect payment details, and no charge can arise from using it. Usage inside the product is metered in internal credits purely to keep our own costs bounded; credits have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged, and are not a currency, voucher, or claim of any kind.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use LaunchFar. Accounts are managed through our authentication provider, Clerk. Keep your sign-in methods secure, tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use, and do not share or transfer your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Do not post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content in community features.
- Do not scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
- Do not enter other people’s personal data, credentials, or your employer’s confidential information.
You can report unlawful content through the report option on any community post, or by email to contact@jamwithai.com. We may remove content or restrict an account when these Terms or applicable law require it; if that happens to you and you disagree, email us and a person will review the decision.
AI, and what LaunchFar is not
The career mentor, parts of the course experience, and some moderation and recommendation functions use AI, so you are interacting with an AI system rather than a person. AI output can be wrong, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation, and it may reflect what you told us earlier.
LaunchFar is not legal, tax, financial, medical, psychological, or regulated recruitment advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. We do not guarantee employment, admission, certification, income, interview results, or any learning outcome.
Course exercises are checked automatically and course questions are answered by AI. That is not a human review, a qualification, or a finding that you have mastered a skill, and an automated check can accept a wrong answer or reject a good one. We issue no certificates and no proof of achievement.
Your content and your data during the beta
You keep the rights to what you write. You grant us a licence to store and process it so we can run the service for you. Because this is a test environment, conversations, memory, progress, and community content may be reset, migrated, or deleted as we change the product, and we do not promise that anything you enter will still be there later. Keep your own copy of anything you care about.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The service, its content, and its course materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning during the beta.
Availability, disclaimer, and liability
The beta is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We give no service-level guarantee, and downtime, data loss, and defects are to be expected in a test.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and wherever applicable law does not permit a limitation. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty — one whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible at all and on whose observance you may regularly rely — our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for a free service of this kind. Beyond that, liability for slight negligence is excluded, including for lost data, lost profits, or decisions taken on the basis of AI output. Nothing here limits your mandatory statutory rights.
Ending access
You may stop using LaunchFar and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we need to protect the service or other people, or simply because the beta ends.
Governing law
German law applies, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live still apply, and nothing here deprives you of them.
Changes
We will update these Terms as the experiment develops, and we will revise the date above when we do. For a change that materially affects you we will give notice through the product or by email and, where the law requires your agreement, ask for it before the change applies to you.
